I’ve always played a lot of video games, and when I found out that some plants have alternate mature forms, it seemed similar to leveling up a character in a game. One of my favorite plants is my Mature Cebu Blue (Epipremnum pinattum ‘Cebu Blue’) pictured (ABOVE BELOW,WHERE).
The silvery hue is even more apparent and beautiful in the mature form, let along the fenestrations!!! The Epiremnum family was the first plant that I learned fenestrated other than Monsteras. There is the OG Epipremnum pinnatum that is a nice green, which also can be found in ‘Albo’ and ‘Aurea’ forms.
There is also the plant mentioned above, ‘Cebu Blue’ which has a silvery crocodile texture. The last and probably least known is ‘Skeleton Key’, pictured (PLACE, FIG#). If these plants are grown upright, like up a moss pole or tree, they are able to achieve their Mature forms.
